Reston Kelly was set up by Bev Kelly and Ailsa Reston in 1999 to meet the growing demand for Occupational Therapy in the private sector. Both therapists have a wealth of experience within physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Ailsa qualified as a state registered O.T in 1986 and worked in the NHS for 13 years. She gained experience in a wide range of areas within physical medicine and specialised in the treatment of stroke patients.

She was a manager with responsibility for 24 staff whilst, maintaining a clinical role and providing active input into service developments. Ailsa has experience of teaching and lecturing to all medical professions.

Since setting up Reston Kelly, Ailsa has carried out a variety of work including assessments and reports for the insurance and medico-legal sector as well as independent workplace assessments. She regularly carries out assessments for specialised equipment for daily living and wheelchairs.



Since qualifying as a State Registered Occupational Therapist in 1989 Bev worked within the NHS gaining experience in the fields of Physical Medicine and Psychiatry.

Her specialist skills have been developed within the field of Orthopaedics and Rheumatology with a particular interest in Repetitive Strain Injury and work related problems.

Bev has carried out work for insurance companies, the medico legal sector, housing associations and charities. She has also provided workplace and Display Screen Equipment risk assessments to industry and has developed a wealth of experience in the assessment for provision of wheelchairs and equipment to assist daily living.
